Eureka Seven does seem kinda out there on that list. I realize that a couple of the mechs are characters and stuff but they don't go into detail like the other mentions do.

I suppose the same can be said for Eva, though.

Another vote here for Mazinger for the the last mecha slot. Not only did it invent/define the entire genre, for a title that is freaking 40 years old, it still holds up well against other giant robot shows.

Also, in the "Use of 3D" column, I'd remove either Appleseed or GiTS (as both are Shirow creations) and replace it with Macross Plus.
