Joking aside you do know Sol is a Particle Physicist with a degree in special quantum theoretics and literally Magi-Science right? I'm not sure if he has a PhD, but he even rocked a lab coat in a research facility. He's nothing close to idiotic, I'd say Ragna has more the character traits of Chipp Zanuff, revenge obsessed and narrow minded, but I know people have to compare the two play wise first, still Sol wouldn't even associate with someone like Ragna, he's just not bright, and he's just not smart.
