First 2 episodes are not that good. The series picks up after the other witches appear.

There is fanservice (a lot in some episodes, a little bit less later on), but the best point of the series is the interaction between the characters. The action is not great, but quite decent.

The girls are (obviously) cute and the show is filled with WWII references (I would advise you to look at some of the SW historical reference pictures later on).

I would say this is just a cute and funny show. Don't expect it to be Dostoevsky in anime form and just enjoy the ride.
