    I'm having problems with it just suddenly deciding to stop recording a show, right in the middle of it being on. It's my parents DVR, else I would have ditched the POS for an HD tivo with a cablecard.

    the box itself runs a very slimmed down of linux but seems not to even have enough power to run the thing correctly I use to get all sorts of fuck ups with my box so I fixed it .............. signed up for FIOS!
