Since I've been on a Q&A kick in /a/ and /r9k/ recently, I've decided to set up a formspring account for publicly answering 4chan related questions. Pretty shitty artist. It sure is nice to be the son of someone who actually did something with his life and have people eat up your shit because of it. in the meantime, thousands of actually decent artists are starving.
I also love how the publisher hires someone who's actually competent to do the covers for their comics.

That's kind of the point. We already have many images that show how heavily he referenced/traced poses and characters. Why pick apart every thing just because it seems similar? The image of Kenpachi and the ripoff character side by side is a more compelling piece of evidence than the panel in which similar events happen.

The best way to market your art is though a website. Then use connections to advertise both it and other people's works. That way you can make some dough off of your skills.
