    4 types of Anime fan of 4chan.

    1. Shojo Lover- Usually girls in their early highschool or middle school.
    Regardless of quality watches it for the ending they like. They also watch cute shows. They tend to take fancy in movies like twilight or harry potter couples.
    Shows this group enjoys:
    Shugo chara, Kimi ni Todoke, His her circumstances, K-on, Vampire Knight
    Shows this group dislikes: Shigurui, Aoi Bungaku, etc. anything too dark or gloomy.

    2. Shonen Lover: Can be of any age, usually this is someone who has not much experience with anime. just starting off and finds shows like one piece or bleach good.
    Shows they may enjoy: the big 3, soul eater, dragonball, HSDK, etc.
    Shows they may dislike: ?? they don't know enough shows to hate it.

    3. Intellectuals/artist: Usually university students or around 17-35's because people older than that don't watch anime. They can appreciate originality and is sicken by cliche shows.
    They only like shows with lot of thoughts put into it. An Art form.
    Shows this group may like: Serial Experiment Lain, Bakemonogatari, Monster, Clannad,
    Shows this group hates: Hidamari, Rosario + Vampire, School days, Railgun

    4. Moe/fanservice lover. Basically people who are old/losers but still watches anime for who knows what reason. They tend to share lot of shows Shojo lover enjoys. Quality is nonexistent for them. This is portion is responsible for the WAIFU cancer of /a/.
    Shows they enjoy: Hidamari, K-on, Kodomo no Jikan, Railgun
    Shows they hate: LOGH, Mushishi, bakemonogatari.
    (anything that will make them think.)

    I don't mind Kimi no Todoke as a cutesy breather, mind. Cute fluff is kinda nice. Also, Utena was LOLDEEP shojo done well, as was Princess Tutu (to a lesser extent)

    Also, shonen shit like FMA and Yu Yu Hakusho are solid; its just that these were original (at least YYH was back in the day). I guess I'm an open-ended type 3 then?
