Watched it again about a week ago dubbed. I had almost forgotten how enjoyable it was.

Honestly the baseball one annoys the shit out of me because I'm an asspained American. But I love the graffiti episode.

A lot of episodes had too little sword fighting.

My favorite episode in the show was episode 18 where it was discovered that Mugen is able to speak but can't read Japanese . The rest of the episode was fun to watch.

The music itself rivals Cowboy Bebop in genre and style. If Cowboy Bebop represents the best of Jazz in Anime then Samurai Champloo represents the best of Hip-Hop in Anime.

Jin's episode where he falls in love with the prostitute. Deep Shit.

Jin was a fucking badass.

Episode where Mugen learns to read is the funniest shit ever. Favorite episode in all of anime.

Yeah okay, I'm the person you're quoting and I wouldn't even include Trigun in the conversation because it fucking sucked. It's a combination of two things:

1. Reading the two volumes of the manga before I saw the anime, which is about the first 10 episodes of the anime, where I saw how badly the anime fucked up all of the best scenes in the manga and raged.

2. The second half was complete garbage which introduced a new villain every episode with no backstory whatsoever, most of them having completely fucktarded character designs. When the show is getting serious don't put in a samurai in the goddamn show, he would have worked as a joke character but not now when you're getting angsty and grimdark. It was boring as fuck watching Vash somehow inadvertantly kill some aspie looking faggot with no personality or background every episode and seeing him ANGST over it.

Fucking awesome series, and Mugen's voice actor is that guy who does a voice in EVERY FUCKING SERIES i forget his name

Other than that it was a really good show.
It could really benefit from a movie.

Excellent series. It's a shame that everyone sees it as "that other series by the Cowboy Bebop guy" because it has a lot of merits on its own.

The only problem I'd say is that the final boss just kinda comes out of nowhere, but even so he's awesome.
