I'm a recovering hikikomori. Dropped out of university because of the anxiety, it got to the point where walking down the road from my house was bad enough to make me break down crying from panic, which was highly embarrassing. However, through the wonders of 4 years of (incredibly painful) professional help I'm now looking at starting some kind of volunteer work this year! And it fucking sucks, I don't want to be doing that. Now that I can get outside again if I need to, I've realised there's nothing out there worth going out for anyway.

I have something similar. Parents selling house, i can choose my new place and i'll get money which could last at 5 years. I can still do some home based jobs like translating, editing etc. so it's not much problem.
