OKAY, I admit, do they powerlevels better then most Shounen shows.

In Pokemon, most of the time you KNOW what they are going to evolve to.

Shit gets crazy once you learn how powerful the upper-tier Digimon are. How about one that's able to destroy entire dimensions? That shit's insane. DBZ has nothin on some Digimon.

Digimon was badass. Since as a kid you dont notice repetitive patterns so each time a digimon digivolved it was like OH SHIT SOMEONE'S GOING TO GET POUNDED! Plus the main chars had each of their own personality and so did each digimon villan and ally. (unlike pokemon with repetetive characters and lifeless pokemon)

They make that up with incredible music when the Digimon evolve.

Digimon season 4 had the best final battle.

I always wished to enter the Digital World and claim my digitama, I even replaced the batteries in my V-Pet... ;__;

Yeah the digivolved looks were pretty badass, but you are kidding yourself if you don't think it was repetitive as all hell. The digivolutions were more like magical girl transformations in the sense that they had to dedicate at least one minute for every digimon to digivolve almost every fricken episode. Not to mention the attacks rarely changed. When they first divivolve it an unexpected "holy shit yeah!" moment, but every time afterwards in just annoying.

If I could have a Digimon, it would be Pandamon.

As someone who unbiasedly watched both Digimon and Pokemon as a kid, I can safely say that 13 years later, having not watch either at all recently, I remember all the original main characters of pokemon's personalities, a few minor character's names and personalities, major events for them, and names to this day. I can't even remember half of the Digimon cast past a few mains. I would argue that either Pokemon was a more memorable cast, or that Digimon wasn't all that unique if I could forget it so easily.
