Meh, I buy some of my anime, watch some online, rent some, and stream some. It really depends on the quality of the show, although right now I do have a 320gb external hard drive completly dedicated to anime.

The thing is so many good shows such as Maison Ikkoku or Hokuto no Ken are both nearly impossible to find in the states. In Hokuto no Ken's case, only 1/3 of the series was released, and in Maison Ikkoku's case, the box sets are literally impossible to find. There are countless other series out there that either haven't been released in English, or have been, and are extremely hard to find. How could you even dare start getting on to people about downloading?
