    Ever since I watched this every other Seinen Anime has seemed boring, and slow in comparison

    Anyone else have this problem with other shows, or this one ?

    There seems to be some general rule that anything targetted at older audiences must be paced slowly and drenched in so much symbolism and subtext that there's more substance to what's not shown than what is.

    That's just the way it is, if you want ace paced and exciting, you're probably looking for younger demographics, but you compromise with the subject matter, which is usually targetted towards youth and afraid to explore subject matter that may be more graphic, disturbing or controversial (what some might call 'adult content')
