Regardless of the fact that the characters are almost explicitly straight; Konata goes out of her way to make sure that her friends know she's straight even in a video game, gets annoyed when Kagami licks cotton candy off her sister's cheek because it's no fun when two girls do it, and purposely tries to pick up pedophiles at the beach while Kagami gets frustrated that a boy in her class doesn't confess to her.
