hearing the name, and seeing the character design, I was incredibly
skeptical. It'd be hard not to be. But after the first, the very first
thirteen or so minutes, I was totally hooked. It literally is a
fairytale; but oh no, there's no happy ending here. It's more Grimm
than anything else, more tragic, full of despair. And it's all executed
wonderfully.
Tutu is an example of excellent character
development. I really didn't like two characters at the start; both
seemed cold, aloof, and total bastards. Towards the end I felt nothing
but empathy towards them. Rue actually became my ultimate favourite
character. Mythos, who I thought was a boring person at the start, made
me feel pretty conflicted throughout the series. Did I hate it? Did I
still like him? And Tutu, my favourite little martyr. What happened to
her made me bawww hard.
So, is it good? Oh, anon. Good doesn't even cover it. |
