There's too many adaptations of manga/light novels/visual novels/video games/etc. And lots of these try to be direct translations onto the screen, instead of using animation to take the story and characters in a similar, but altogether different direction that the audience can enjoy. And when they don't copy the source material exactly, fans of the original version complain and this backlash can cause the studios to stop making more inspired shows. Which causes the shit we have now.

Then, they stopped selling it in my neighborhood because nobody (but me and maybe a few other people) was buying it. Mahou shoujofag here. Nanoha is my favorite anime at the moment. Seasons 1 and 2 have the right combination of moe and shounen and that's what makes it enjoyable.
