Second, as for why it is retard, I can only tell you people have different tastes. For example, we got some people who only likes to watch shounen non-stop, and therefore, are faggots who are looked down upon by other anime watchers. As for why, It's too complicated, but just understand never fuck with people's taste in anime, it'll be your biggest mistake.

Second, why people is calling the op a fag? Like i say, human beings are simply and delicate creatures, we act the way we want without thinking first. I can only think some people don't like the fact that some things are not to their taste. Which is fine, I mean if i could, my friend and i would have posted better shit than what is on there. Also another reason I see is jealously. Some people really have no life, and are easily pissed and anger when they see there are people still in school and actually get to see the opposite sex, rather than in their own room and never going out.

But putting aside the trolling for a moment, you are certainly right. What most people associate with anime is geek, gross nerds, and such. And to be honest, when I joined it back then, it was horrible man, it's like a naruto marathon type of shit. Shit was enough to really make me hang my-self.

But now that my friend and I are seniors, we actually want to try and actually make an anime club where there's no such thing as bleach marathons, but watch other animes like code geass, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and maybe higurashi if my school isn't gonna be a bitch about it.
And don't think we're just watching anime, we both got laptops we bring in and let 'em play melty blood and touhou , and other good stuff also. Though I look like a troll here, I am serious when it comes to expanding the anime culture.
