Mine wasn't that bad. Everyone was pretty not-retarded and the girls were too shy to be SUPA KAWAIIIIIIII. Granted, they only had like two major events throughout the year.

The president was pretty hot though, and would give you a handjob if you asked nicely enough.

She's going into politics.

like 6 peeps show up and most of them but not me are about the nerdy people you would expect to go there.

I have no Idea if my school has an anime club.

umass amherst has one of the weirdest anime clubs ever. there used to be this fat black chick who took like 7 years to graduate, and she always wore cat ears and was one of those shrieking "supa supa kawaii!" types who is an embarrassment to humanity. also, apparently one of the guys who goes to this club also carries around a bag of his shaved pubes with him and shows said bag to large groups of people in an effort to impress them. yea.

I've never been in one, and I don't intend to be.

Why is everyone in your anime club so dark? Dark hair, dark complexion, dark clothes.....there's not a kawaii person in the bunch.

So yeah, I understand that being an unsocial shut-in is the cool thing to be here. And I'll admit a lot of people who show up to anime clubs are fucking retarded - I've known enough of them. But is meeting other people who share your interests such a bad thing? That's the only real reason I'd have for setting up such a club, I couldn't really give a shit if it lasts or not. Just be nice to meet some new people to hang out with.
