I seem to be the only person who never really liked Yang as much as the other characters. He seems to be perpetually conflicted over his allegiance to democracy, and that conflict kills a lot of people and is one of the main causes of the Alliance losing the war. By the end of the series, his question regarding the usefulness of democracy in relation to the flawed nature of human beings is still unresolved. Reinhard is determined and knows exactly what his ideals are. I much prefer a character that suffers from tunnel-vision than one who is wishy-washy.

The Terran cult and one of the battle just prior to that arc surprised me with how grim they were.
To see crewmen crawling along with their midsection sliced of or trying to push their guts back into to there body was rather unpleasant but in a good way if that makes sense.

Reinhard, however, does not get such a cover, the last we see of him is the 28th one which I've already posted.

I think after Yangs trail they kind of ran out of ways to show the shit side of Democracy that actually required the democracy to do that. Luckily Job was there to sum up the worst points. Also, the Alliance ships just struck a cord with me. They looked great.
