    I know a mom who has a kid who likes cartoons and has liked some of the cute clips I link from youtube. She asked if there was a title I could suggest that would be appropriate.

    I have Risky Safety box set and initially thought that would be great, but the kid can't deal with subtitles, Risky swears a lot in the dub and the first two episodes talk about if you go to heaven if you take your own life, so that idea is nixed. I thought it was cute, but it isn't 6 year old girl appropriate.

    Is any anime title appropriate for a relatively meek 6 year old in emotionally stunted America? No swearing, tolerable dub, no implied sex, kid can handle cartoonish violence.

    I don't know, try Bottle Fairy, I watched the dub and don't recall a single curse word. The dub was okay in my opinion (I didn't have to cover my ears on certain parts because it sounded so bad). It was pretty cute and funny. Some of the episodes go a little bit into Japanese culture too.

    If you do pick it up, or anything for that matter, zoom through it real quick on fast forward and see if there are any parts you need to skip or if it isn't suitable for kids. Better spending the extra 5-30 minutes reviewing a movie/episode then mulling over a curse word or explaining "HOW DOES SEXED WORK" to a six year old.

    Also, you could look into Hayao Miyazaki's movies, a lot of them are appropriate for children (Mature life themes though no cursing).
