It seems that some of you who are particularly new to /a/ are making a terrible mistake in your posting habits.

Spamming a thread with images, while generally frowned upon, has an understandable purpose that you are failing to achieve.

You see, as long as you neglect to use the "sage" function, every image post you flood a thread with will bump it to the top of the front page. By typing "sage" into the email field, your post will not bump the thread. While "sagebombing" is frowned upon and not the intended use of the function, not using it in your crapfloods is counterproductive to your interest of obliterating your target thread.

I know I can't stop you from shitting up whatever thread you please, but if you absolutely must do it, please learn to threadshit properly. Remember, if you hate a thread enough to want to spam and flood it, don't waste your already wasted efforts by bumping it to the front page with your every post! That will just call more attention to the thread you hate!

Alternatively, you could always ignore threads you don't like, report threads that break board rules, and take the initiative in making your own threads if there is nothing that appeals to you on the board already. Although this is a highly preferable method of posting, it's probably too much to ask of you.
