This is the boxset. It's an official release by ADV. It's pretty good in terms of translation and video quality, though light in special features (they're nearly broke, after all). The price is quite economical, though. I highly recommend buying it.

Tthe re-issued box set of Gungrave just shipped today... for $50, and I just bought it from Amazon for $37 + shipping. Jesus fucking christ, remember when anime box sets cost a good deal more than $100, and usually closer to $150-200? For a 26 episode series, no less, let alone shows with 30+ episodes. These fucking re-issues are a GODSEND. Now only if Haibane Renmei and Texhnolyze got re-issued, I could die happy. (After buying the box sets, of course)

Part fansubs, part licensing the wrong shows or putting too much effort into the wrong shows, part shoddy availability of old series, part sub-par shows recently. The re-issues are a boon to slowpokes like me.

I recall a Japanese industry giant saying the studios should whine less about pirates and focus more on making good shows as imagination seems to have dried up, also citing the low birthrate having an effect on kids' shows.

I think the future of anime depends on a more globalized market.

But after paying over 120 dollars for it and still getting unskippable trailers and commercials at the beginning of my disk I got a bit angry.
