The proper way to do it is to fill out the range of attributes on the axes on this picture that personally turn you on, i.e. a "sweet spot" if you will. I like to fill in a little in the middle for the axes like "Smart / Stupid" and "Slanted Eyes / Drowsy Eyes" and "Female / Male", where it's not too good if it's too much or too little.

Sometimes you can fill in just the extremes, too, if you're into that, like "Clumsy / Elegant" or "Light Skin / Dark Skin"!
