Starts out with Jonathan Joestar's dad adopting Dio Brando, who does everything he can to fuck Jonathan over (kills his dog, steals his girlfriend's first kiss, etc) to drive him crazy and take his father's fortune. He uses an Aztec stone mask to turn himself into a vampire later on. The first arc is Jonathan's story, then the subsequent ones follow other Joestars up until present time.
