03/06/09(Fri)19:22 No.19414758>>19414119 I go to cons if they have good guests. Good guests for me being important creators in the field, not American voice actors.
Everyone
focuses on all the manic energy spewed out of the socially-retarded
teenagers that seem to speak on the behalf of everyone else.
I
go because I get to ask people about the work they've done, the things
they like, how they feel about the industry, and so on. I've been to
some very interesting panels with some very interesting people.
The
problem is that each year the cons get bigger, the programming seems to
get worse and worse. The number of polite, quiet fans seems to stay the
same while the influx of pocky-fueled, mouth-breathing retards
skyrockets.
More and more people flood Vic Mignoggnangnana's
gossip panel to talk about yaoi and Ed-kun being kawaii, while Hiroshi
Nagahama's panel is empty, his audience half comprised of staff members
required to be there. |
