problem with short stories is that...they're short. They end so quickly
and then you get everything you wanted out of your twenty-six episodes
and then...bam! Show's over, move along people nothing more to see here!
What
I like about longer stories like One Piece is that there is an ongoing
story and you get to see more new things in every episode. Also, with
the way One Piece is, there are elements which tend to build on
eachother, furthermore, where Outlaw Star tends to tell only one story,
One Piece has MULTIPLE STORIES. A single arc can last longer than a
series. And when it's done, another story comes in its place. The
bigger picture of course comes in piece by piece, inch by grueling
inch, and that makes it all the more exciting. It's not like there
isn't an end in sight...there is. But many things happen along the way.
One Piece is by far the most epic adventure I've seen. Outlaw Star,
while good on its own is small shit. |
