Found your problem.
INSTALLING CCCP + COREAVC
1. If you have any previous codecs/codec packs, uninstall all of them (you can use CCCP Insurgent as help) and reboot. 2. Get CCCP and CoreAVC. 3. Install CCCP. 4. Install CoreAVC, do not install Haali Media Splitter that comes with it. 5. Go to CCCP settings page 1 and uncheck H.264 under FFDShow Video Decoders. 6. Watch stuff in Media Player Classic or ZoomPlayer that came with CCCP (preferred renderers are Haali Video Renderer and EVR).
If it still doesn't play smoothly, here's some more stuff to try (in this order until it plays properly):
7. Turn off other potentially resource-eating programs 8. Use Overlay Mixer as the renderer (in MPC, Options -> Output) 9. Turn Process Priority Above Normal on in MPC settings. 10. In CoreAVC settings, turn deblocking to "Skip when safe" 11. In CoreAVC settings, turn deblocking completely off (this will reduce image quality but speed up decoding) 12. Format and reinstall your OS. 13. Buy a better processor / computer. |
