Every even numbered movie is slower and focuses more on backgrouud/mystery.

The odds consistently have more action, but the mystery/supernatural elements are still heavy.

And then there's Paradox Spiral, the Fifth.

I think they're excellent. ufotable must have mad money, because these are all pretty high quality releases, and movie 5 especially since it's more than twice as long as any single one previously. While some of the knife fights may have been choreographed in an odd way, it's stunning as the level of work they put into it: sound, character design (gotta love type-moon), backgrounds, set design, music. The only character that didn't seem to blend well was Cornelius, his red outfit just stood out for some reason. Either way, these are some of the highest quality releases of anything that have come out in a while, and we're merely watching DVDrips, imagine having seen it in a theater.

How long will 6 and 7 be if anyone has a clue?

Kara no Kyokai is one of the few things all us Joestars can watch together, Grandpa likes the character relationship between Shiki and Mikiya, Jotaro likes that Shiki's a woman who doesn't run her mouth off, Josuke likes that nobody has more extreme hair than he does, and I like the gratuitous violence!
