    thing is, the japanese words and sentences are usually longer than English ones. So the English translation has to be really streched in order to fit the song, which doesnt normally work

    Fuck you, I'd like to see you do a better job trying to get a fucking song sequence done in japanese to match with english lyrics. They did their best and it was better than most dubbed song sequences. I think they did a great job with the haruhi dub.

    Translating the song, keeping the rhythm and melody of it and still retaining whatever meaning the lyrics had isn't exactly easy. And it's not like it matters considering that the lyrics don't have any meaning anyhow.

    Both versions of God Knows sound the same. The japanese version does flow better, though.
