Fansubbing will stop when every single anime is broadcast simultaneously with the Japanese on cable TV channels in America, subbed.

This has always conflicted me being 50% moralfag, but it's usually okay in my books because most of it will never see a release outside of japan. A sale that never existed is not a sale lost.
Maybe companies should start hiring subbing groups to release fast, cheap subtitles and just selling them per episode over the internet. People would still pirate it, but there would at least be a legitimate market.

After that though I would gladly pay $3 for an online 720p stream with quality subs, better then waiting upto a few days for free subs to come, not like I spend my money wisley elsewhere.

Will never happen. The Japanese releases are somtimes 2x more expensive than the US releases. Now that Blu-Ray puts both Japan, US, and the EU in the same region they'll either be more restrictive in release timetables or jack the price up even higher for international releases.
