Still, it has a pretty nice style, the women aren't useless, Black Star is a walking parody of Naruto and the fight scenes are actually really well animated.

Also, it has the best fucking filler ever. Naruto and Bleach wish they had REGULAR EPISODES as good as Soul Eater's filler.

Removing the believe it and homolust was more than enough to make it enjoyable. Now add in better characters, animation, soundtrack and art direction.

It's not the greatest show ever made, nor will you hear people tout it as such. But it's a damned good show if you're not looking for every show to be lolNGEdeep or some school harem bs, etc. Sometimes people want to watch some goofy characters just kick ass with some good looks and animation.
