Zutsuu - Sounds of Reckoning Splatterkore Reck-ords Cat. No. SKFREE025 Licensed under Creative Commons license (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0) 2012 This album is dedicated to our times. These sounds came to life between 2008-2012. As I have been evolving so has the Zutsuu project been evolving, not only in sound, but also in perspective from fear and hate into hope and love. The order of the tracks is also intentionally progressing from old to new. For a long time I've been influenced by Finnish and international conscious and political rappers and the whole mashup culture in hip hop. I didn't become a rapper myself and I figured I can express myself better in the art of hardcore techno. As these instrumental mashup tracks with a message started to pile up I thought the time was right to make a release. Hate, gloom and doomsday have been kind of a conditioned standard in hardcore, especially when it comes to the many 2012 related releases in recent years. With this release I wish to give a different perspective, a light of balance to the darkness by utilizing hardcore as a positive and creative energy. The future may not be as desperate as it seems! If you resonate with the sounds presented here, remember that sharing is caring! I wanna give a big shout-out to: - The nice folks at Splatterkore. - All members of the Kovaydin Vastarinta crew. Together we keep the Finnish underground alive and blooming! - Razor Edge and Skelic for collaborating with me on this album and 62 and Razor Edge for their remixes. - Miika aka AM/PM Programme for mastering. - All the musicians and speakers sampled on this album. Your sounds have been used with utmost respect, except for a certain Jyrki fellow (it doesn't mean I hate you though, I know you are on a long learning process like we all are). - Junkie Kut, Dionnaki, Robert Inhuman, Kirdec, Pyongyang Hardcore Resistance, Nanny State Noise and all other core musicians who are bringing their conscious message to the core! - David Wilcock, Ashayana Deane and all other lightworkers out there, regardless of whether all the aspects of your work become reality in the end. The basic message, love, is what truly matters. - All the listeners and people who have come to the gigs over the years and supported me. - All the people and beings close to me. - My higher self and the universe for guiding me during the process of making this album. From Zutsuu with unconditional love PS: I'm available for bookings as Zutsuu and/or my other project Teknoaidi (shamancore/atmospheric and psychedelic core with world music influences). In the current world system travel fees are a necessity for the time being, but flexible and negotiable, no gig fees. Other than that a place to stay at, meeting new people, experiencing local realities and exchanging ideas and music would be sufficient.
