I think this is the closest thing to a source, this one seems to pop up more in reverse searches.

It's super weird though, both sources I posted looks like it's pulled from the same image. idk im tired of staring at it lol

What's weird is that I had pulled this one aside a month or two ago as if I had the match already. There's 11 matches with this image on TinEye so maybe it was because of that. I don't remember though.

Is there a list somewhere of textures that still haven’t been found?

I have another 10 disc bitmap pack from 1993 that I’ve looked for and isn’t on any archive sites

I’m stoked that I was able to even find one thing in there. There were some others that looked familiar, maybe for other games?

I’m not sure if there’s a place that keeps unidentified textures because some might be unidentifiable. Rush 2049 (the game I’ve found matches for) uses a lot of photos that the devs took themselves.

MtH has a wiki for sonic adventure textures. I only knew of the rock one because of the page there that had non-sourced textures with matches. I guess that’s kinda what you’re talking about.

I don’t think there’s a definitive list for textures that haven’t been found yet, the admins here would know better than I do. There might be one for Super Mario 64.
