AGENCY: National Communications System (NCS).

ACTION: Notice of publication.

SUMMARY: Federal Telecommunications Recommendation (FTR) 1047/3-1998,
``High Frequency Radio Automatic Link Establishment Addressing and
Registration'' was approved for publication on March 6, 1998. This
recommendation establishes a standardized addressing and registration
system for Government high frequency (HF) automatic link establishment
(ALE) radio systems.
