Army Science Board; Notice of Open Meeting

    In accordance with Section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory 
Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463), announcement is made of the following 
Committee Meeting:

    Name of Committee: Army Science Board (ASB).
    Date of Meeting: 13 & 14 January 1998.
    Time of Meeting: 0830-1630, 13 Jan 98. 0830-1300, 14 Jan 98.
    Place: CECOM HQ--Ft. Monmouth, NJ
    Agenda: The Army Science Board's (ASB) Issue Group Study on 
``Army Avionics Modernization Methodologies'' will meet for 
briefings and discussions on Army avionics modernization 
methodologies, Army avionics Science and Technology programs, and 
open systems architecture. These meetings will be open to the 
public. Any interested person may attend, appear before, or file 
statements with the committee at the time and in the manner
