WASSENAAR ARRANGEMENT; HIGH PERFORMANCE
COMPUTERS; ENCRYPTION"

WASHINGTON, DC

Hyatt Regency Crystal City + Arlington, VA

March 11, 1998

ABOUT THE SEMINAR

This full day seminar covers the newly released regulations on pre-notification and "new" reporting requirements of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The new rules relate to the Wassenaar Arrangement implementation; regulations; the high performance computer regulations; and encryption licensing.

This important seminar focuses on the requirements for reporting certain exports, the correct way to fill out and submit the required information, and on how each type of information will be used by the U.S. Government. The seminar also addresses the pre-shipment notification requirements for certain high performance computers and other EAR reporting requirements.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

The instructors are experienced export administration specialists and licensing officers from BXA's Washington, DC headquarters. The instructors - who helped develop the policies and manage the reporting programs - are available throughout the seminar to answer your questions on the new reporting requirements.
