Hi, Folks

Since this blog's still getting around 20 hits a day (and, mind you, that's 20 Javascript-enabled hits a day), I have no desire to retire it. I may end up moving my online publishing activities in general to craptome.org, a great domain that I just bought, though. Stay tuned for more details.

What makes craptome.org such a great domain?

It. just. is.

Or I could go into how it might be viewed as a clever take-off on cryptome.org, or how it's slightly self-deprecating (although I didn't choose it for that reason), or how it's 8 letters long yet conveys meaning (something that's increasingly hard to do these days with domain names), or how it contains the über-cool word "tome", which implies that it may sometime contain a wealth of information, either compensating for the fact that it does not, or contrasting sharply with the fact that it does not, depending on how you look at it.
