Subject: Open letter Dear Krystian, We are writing to you because there is a grave threat to the freedom of the press in Europe. The investigation into Netzpolitik is serious and requires a public statement from prominent members of the working press. The following statement is what we believe is reasonable and concise: "The investigation against Netzpolitik for treason and their unknown sources is an attack against the free press. Charges of treason against journalists performing their essential work is a violation of the fifth article of the German constitution. We demand an end to the investigation into Netzpolitik and their unknown sources." We would like your signature and any affiliation on this simple statement - will you sign it? If you have a suggestion for other journalists, editors or related workers who might also be interested in signing this statement as well, we'd love to hear the best way to contact them. Additionally, it would be wonderful to publish this in English and German in as many media outlets as possible. Would you be willing to publish it anywhere once we've finished collecting signatures?
