To whom it may concern,
I am contacting you in regards of the two files uploaded to cryptome.org
sni.pdf Single Narrative Index
of Jihadist Dogma
holy-terror.pdf Holy Books
and Terror Manuals
what is the relation do they have with website? the way it stands out between
the other documents seems odd, all of them have to do with corporations and
governments.
My question is does the website support religious arguments? and how come
I can only find this one?
Hope my questions will be answered, keeping in mind I find it valid and I
don't support taking them down in anyway.
Thank you for your time

Meaning of jihad in Arabic is to struggle or to give effort, which comes
from the root word jhd(ÌåÏ) which means hardship(1)
Holy War in Arabic is "harb moqadasa"(ÍÑÈ
ãÞÏÓÉ) the word jihad alone doesn't mean
war or killing, a big misconception, fighting(combat) is a form of jihad
among many forms, jihad in Allah's sake is not the fighting to enforce Islam
on others rather fighting the oppressors for the freedom to Islam and
religion.
In my own opinion Mahmoud Ali Hamad's statements lack evidence and the ones
mentioned can easily be refuted so here goes.
RE:Jihad Verses
The writers evidence is completely flawed, here is the translation of the
verse by Yusef Ali(2):
5. But when the forbidden months
Are past, then fight and slay
The Pagans wherever ye find them,
And seize them, beleaguer them,
And lie in wait for them
In every stratagem (of war);
But if they repent,
And establish regular prayers
And practise regular charity,
Then open the way for them:
For God is Oft-forgiving,
Most Merciful.(3)
Driven out of context completely changes the meaning here is the next
verse:
6. If one amongst the Pagans
Ask thee for asylum,
Grant it to him,
So that he may hear the Word
Of God; and then escort him
To where he can be secure.
That is because they are
Men without knowledge.(3)
again verse 29 out of context the verse was meant for the
Romans(Byzantines):
29. Fight those who believe not
In God nor the Last Day,
Nor hold that forbidden
Which hath been forbidden
By God and His Apostle,
Nor acknowledge the Religion
Of Truth, (even if they are)
Of the People of the Book,
Until they pay the Jizya
With willing submission,
And feel themselves subdued.(4)
Tafseer(interpretation) of the verse according to "ibn katheer"(5) :
"(Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor
forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those
who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture,)
This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the
Book, after the pagans were defeated, the people entered Allah's religion
in large numbers, and the Arabian Peninsula was secured under the Muslims'
control. Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures,
Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army
to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent
and destination. The Messenger sent his intent to various Arab areas around
Al-Madinah to gather forces, and he collected an army of thirty thousand.
Some people from Al-Madinah and some hypocrites, in and around it, lagged
behind, for that year was a year of drought and intense heat. The Messenger
of Allah marched, heading towards Ash-Sham to fight the Romans until he reached
Tabuk, where he set camp for about twenty days next to its water resources.
He then prayed to Allah for a decision and went back to Al-Madinah because
it was a hard year and the people were weak, as we will mention, Allah
willing."(6)
According to Ahmad ibn-Jabir al-Baladhuri in The Origins of the Islamic
State(Kitab Futuh al-Buldha):
"Christians and Jews prefer Moslem rule. Abu-Hafs ad-Dimashki from Sa'id
ibn-'Abd-al-'Aziz: -When Heraclius massed his troops against the Moslems
and the Moslems heard that they were coming to meet them at al-Yarmuk, the
Moslems refunded to the inhabitants of Hims the karaj [tribute] they had
taken from them saying, "We are too busy to support and protect you. Take
care of yourselves." But the people of Hims replied, "We like your rule and
justice far better than the state of oppression and tyranny in which we were.
The army of Heraclius we shall indeed, with your 'amil's' help, repulse from
the city." The Jews rose and said, "We swear by the Torah, no governor of
Heraclius shall enter the city of Hims unless we are first vanquished and
exhausted!" Saving this, they closed the gates of the city and guarded them.
The inhabitants of the other cities - Christian and Jew - that had capitulated
to the Moslems, did the same, saying, "If Heraclius and his followers win
over the Moslems we would return to our previous condition, otherwise we
shall retain our present state so long as numbers are with the Moslems."
When by Allah's help the "unbelievers" were defeated and the Moslems won,
they opened the gates of their cities, went out with the singers and music
players who began to play, and paid the kharaj." (7)
Here the translation is not completely accurate:
216. Fighting is prescribed
For you, and ye dislike it.
But it is possible
That ye dislike a thing
Which is good for you,
And that ye love a thing
Which is bad for you.
But God knoweth,
And ye know not.(8)
Notice jihad(ÌåÇÏ) is not in the verse, there is
no mention here to kill anyone. fighting(combat) is disliked by anyone in
general.
Again here there is no mention of the killing of anyone:
244. Then fight in the cause
Of God, and know that God
Heareth and knoweth all things.(9)
What Sheikh 'Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Humaid said is also out of context
with the rest of the verses and suras, since there is no mention of the exact
verses it is baseless, his opinions doesn't reflect the ones of the majority
of Muslims and authentic Muslim scholars to my knowledge.
Islam has more laws on how to engage in combat than U.S law more than Geneva
convention or the U.N.
