Do Not Throw Rocks At A House of Glass

First of all, Muslims have the right to criticize any book containing Quran for it interpretation, the "book of jihad" contain verses alone calling for the destruction of non-believers, but all Muslims choose to take the Quran as a whole. Muslims rely on Quran, Hadith and scholars in that order for religious knowledge.

Here are verses that are contradicting to Mahmoud Ali Hamad's interpretation of killing (slaughtering) non-believers:

2:190"Fight in the cause of God
Those who fight you,
But do not transgress limits;
For God loveth not transgressors."(1)

1:193 "And fight them on
Until there is no more
Tumult or oppression,
And there prevail
Justice and faith in God;
But if they cease,
Let there be no hostility
Except to those
Who practise oppression."(1)

2:256 "Let there be no compulsion
In religion: Truth stands out
Clear from Error: whoever
Rejects Evil and believes
In God hath grasped
The most trustworthy
Hand-hold..."(2)

22:39 "To those against whom
War is made, permission
Is given (to fight), because
They are wronged;—and verily,
God is most Powerful
For their aid;—"(3)<

22:40 " (They are) those who have
Been expelled from their homes
In defiance of right,
(For no cause) except
That they say," Lord
Is God". Did not God
Check one set of people
By means of another,
There would surely have been
Pulled down monasteries, churches,
Synagogues, and mosques, in which
The name of God is commemorated
In abundant measure. God will
Certainly aid those who
Aid His (cause);—for verily
God is Full of SStrength,
Exalted in Might,
(Able to enforce His Will)."(3)

Secondly, suicide bomber are doing a grave sin according to Quran and Hadith:

4:29 "O ye who believe! sot
Eat not up your property
Among yourselves in vanities:
But let there be amongst you
Traffic and trade
By mutual good-will:
Nor kill (or destroy)
Yourselves: for verily
God hath been to you
Most Merciful!"(4)

 Bukhari 2:445 "...Prophet said, 'A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him.'"(5)

Bukhari 4:258 "During some of the Ghazawat of Allah's Apostle a woman was found killed, so Allah's Apostle forbade the killing of women and children"(6)

Yes jihad for Allah's sake(by the sword) is not just limited to Muslim land but to all lands that is oppressed, I don't think anyone in his right mind will oppose this. There is also another reason to go to jihad in Allah's sake in other lands, that is to stop terrorism, as President bush said he started a war on terror, Islam announced that war 1400 years ago.

4:75. And why should ye not
Fight in the cause of God
And of those who, being weak,
Are ill-treated (and oppressed)?—
Men,, women, and children,
Whose cry is: "Our Lord!
Rescue us from this town,
Whose people are oppressors;
And raise for us from Thee
One who will protect;
And raise for us from Thee
One who will help!"(7)

What the real Muslims("moderates") should read in the Quran is:

4:135." O ye who believe!
Stand out firmly
For justice, as witnesses
To God, even as against
Yourselves, or your parents,
Or your kin, and whether
It be (against) rich or poor:
For God can best protect both.
Follow not the lusts
(Of your hearts), lest ye
Swerve, and if ye
Distort (justice) or decline
To do justice, verily
God is well-acquainted
With all that ye do."(8)

10:85. "They said: "In God
Do we put our trust.
Our Lord! make us not
A trial for those
Who practise oppression;"(9)

Based on the evidence above Islam should not be spread by the sword(force), rather spread freedom of faith,peace,speech[not ridicule(10)],trade and education. Take for example Indonesia, it has the largest Muslim population in the world, no Muslim soldier ever went there.

As Yusuf Estes said "...they are not really getting it from Islam, in fact we will say they are closer to the devil than anybody we know, because not only they're committing this horrible Fitna or terrorism they are trying to destroy the very truth, the very salvation that is Islam.".  Islam does not conquer lands, it conquers hearts.

Note: Fitna(oppression) is a deep word, sometimes can be translated to terrorisim.
