The posters in this series cover a number of very broad subject categories including; Agriculture, Conservation (many types), Education, Fuel Efficiency, Patriotism, Production (industrial as well as agricultural), Recruitment, and Security. Slides of the original posters in 4-P were made by the Still Picture Branch and, with slides of World War I posters from other record groups, have been organized into broad subject categories similar to those described above. The slides are in Slide Cabinet 2 in the branch research room. The National Archives reproduced color slides of each poster for preservation and reference purposes.
