BEFORE YOU MAIL YOUR PROPOSAL



The proposal must include each of the following 
sections:

+	Summary of research, including objectives and goals

+	Computational methodology/algorithm

+	If new, preliminary results that have bearing on the success of 
this project

+	If renewal, progress to date, including amount of supercomputer 
usage and a list of publications that have resulted from this 
work.  Complete the NCSA Research Bibliography form and return 
it to the address given on the bottom of the form or submit it 
electronically as indicated. (Form is on the NCSA ftp server
ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu in the /ncsapubs/ResBiblio directory.)

+	Justification of the number of service units requested 
(timings, number of runs, etc.)

+	Description of the local computing environment

+	List of any supercomputer support approved or pending at all 
centers and a description of the relationship between those 
projects and the proposal being submitted

Also include:
+	Vita

+	NSF application sheet with appropriate signatures, and all 
information filled in

+	**six** copies each of any preprints/reprints with your 
proposal.

+	List of additional users who will be involved with the project 
for whom logins may be required (graduate students, post-docs 
etc.)
