My University does not allow POP3 or IMAP connections and forces the 
students to use Microsoft's Outlook web client for e-mail.  I asked them 
why they won't let me download my mail and their only response was 
"security reasons."  My ass!!  These are the same people that set 
everyone's default password to their *birthday* and they're worried about 
security?  Morons!
