March 1, 2005 Lately I've been driving my poor wife nuts. There's been quite a bit of info released all at once about the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie, to be released April 29, 2005. I've looked forward to movies before, but I've never been this excited about one! I'm constantly trying to explain parts of the plot and the presence of the sperm whale in the movie poster to my wife, who doesn't seem to find it quite as amusing as I do. I told her that she will be going to the movie on opening day, but if she can't take the day off to see the first showing, then she'll have to go in the evening with me to see if for my second time. Awesome! The trailer looks spectacular! If you haven't ever read any of the Hitchhiker's books, you should. I've also been listening to the audio book version of the DaVinci Code. That's a good book! Now I see what all the fuss was about. I'm always looking forward to hearing a little bit more of it. Makes me wonder how much of it is true. I'm inclined to believe some of it, but that's just because I've had a pretty low opinion of the catholic church lately. The whole child molestation thing is a real turn off. My wife even found out that they transfered a priest accused of child molestation to her catholic elementary school while she was there (apparently he tormented only one specific family, and was moved away from them). Yuck. But good story anyway! I'd recommend it to anyone. Adios, Jeff .
