Chocolate Killer Cake

Cake

6 oz unsalted butter
6 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
6 eggs
3 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Obtain and grease two 9" x 1 1/2" pans 
Everything hand blended 

Melt butter and chocolate over simmering water

Mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla; whisk for 1 min.

Whisk in butter-chocolate mixture

Stir in flour and chocolate chips

Bake for 30 - 35 minutes

Frosting

1 1/4 cups sugar
2 tbsp instant coffee
1 cup heavy cream
5 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
4 oz unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Mix sugar, coffee and cream in a deep saucepan and set to boil.

Once boiling, set to simmer for 6 min.

Add chocolate and stir; blend.

Add butter and vanilla.

Whisk well and cool.
