Temporary Assistant Professor / Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in Geography

The Department of Geography is currently seeking to make a one-year 
temporary appointment at the Assistant Professor / Postdoctoral 
Teaching Fellow level for the academic year beginning September 1997.  
Fields of specialization are open, but an ability to teach Geography 
of Southeast Asia is essential.  Further preference will be given to 
candidates with experience working in China and / or who have an 
ability to supervise Honours Projects would be advantageous.

Applicants should possess a PhD, but scholars at the late dissertation 
stage are also encouraged to apply.  Applicants are requested to supply 
their curriculum vitae, and to ask three referees to send confidential 
references directly to the Personnel Office.
