The Head of Department of Department of Land Information, Canberra Institute
of Techology, Dr. Noel Hamey, whom is also the CAD Manager for the School of
Construction Studies,  has come to visit our GIS Lab in October, 1994, and
we do exchange our teaching experience on GIS and CAD applications.

Canberra Institute of Technology

CIT is a multi-disciplinary, multi-campus, tertiary education organization
serving the vocational, educational and training needs of the ACT and
region. It is committed to quality education and hands-on practical training
relevant to the workplace.


School of Construction Studies

The School of Construction Studies is the largest and most experienced training
provider for building, construction and land information industries in the
ACT. Courses offered included trade certificates, associate diplomas and
endorsement programs as well as a range of programs specifically designed to
meet the needs of industry and community. Customised courses are also offered
to meet specific training requirements.


Department of Land Information

The Department of Land Information is one of five teaching department and
delivery of education and training programs involving the capture, storage,
dissemination, analysis and modelling of spatially related information.
Emphasis is placed on providing accurate and timely access to data in a
format suitable for effective decision support.
