This menu provide a selected choice of Geo-Gophers available. Since there are
thousands of such Geo-Gophers available worlwide, and most of them are
listed under the Other Gopher sub-menu in the Root Gopher, our department
will only include here thos Geo-Gophers whom are either unlisted elsewhere,
or have been rated by our staff as of most useful to our students. This
direct link will speed up the connection to that specific Gopher for fast
information retreive.

In order to fully utilitize the resources, students are urged to peek thru
the Other Gopher sub-menu (in Root Menu) for other Gophers which carries useful 
geographical informations. There are very good gopher sites, mainly operated
by governments, which you can obtain useful data. You can also refer to the
"Geography Resources and References" sub-menu for possible gophers related 
to your interest. 

Noted that besides Gophers, our department also moderate a number of local
geography newsgroups. With the subscription of Mailing Lists, these newsgroups
provide yet another useful source of information.
