How to Extract these files?

Note that most of these file is also make available in our Local Novell
Network Directory. Hence, our staff and students can access them if they
have an account with our GIS Lab. You don't need to extract them out from
this area at all. 

All the file stored in here are in UUENCODED text format. The original file
format and description of the file is attached in the header section of the
file. 

To Extract the file, you have to mail a copy to your email account, by 
pressing 'm' key. Then, remove all the header section including the CUT HERE
line. Use your system's UUDECODE utility to convert it back to binary file,
and you are ready to use it with the right software package.


Alternative way to Extract these files

Most of the files in these directory are now made available thru our new
Geography FTP Server in binary format. You don't need to decode them if
you get it from the following ftp site,
