There are two Geography FTP Sites in our campus.


1. COURSE RELATED FTP SERVER

Our department also operating a course related FTP site on our
Geography FTP Server, which served as the distribution area for our
course material. Instructions and special course accounts for
accessing this site will be given to our students in the respected
lectures. 

Anonymous access is allow with restriction to our public FTP directory 
only, which contains maps and other geography related materials. The
public URL address for this FTP Server is

       ftp://ftp-geog.hkbu.edu.hk/pub
       

2. GEOGRAPHY FTP MIRROR SITE

Thanks to the help and resources from the Department of Computing
Studies, we are able to mirror some of the common FTP sites for
geographic resources. Click on the disk icon above will connect you to
the geography FTP mirror site's home directory thru anonymous login.
Sorry, due to security reason, only access from Hong Kong site is
permitted).
