The Internet Service Providers is providing this service for free. This is community service for global internet users. In Hong Kong, it is SuperNet who does this. This text provide two methods of using this service, which served as the quick starter guide for those whom what to make use of this service at ones. For detail explaination and other informations, you should refer to the full text of "FAQ: How can I send a fax from the Internet?" elsewhere under this menu. QUICK STARTER METHODS 1. Access thru the WWW Clients to the following page http://town.hall.org/fax/faxsend-short.html This is the most easiest way, which allow you to enter information in a form. However, you have to type in the fax message online, and can use it to send your own email contents or text file; 2. Send it via email. Assume you want to send a fax to state with number +1(123)456-7890, where 1 is the country code. Then compose a Email with to-address: remote-printer.FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME/OFFICENAME @0.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1.1.tpc.int (i.e. the fax number has been reversed, and you only need to include the country code.) You can subsiture anything for FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME /OFFICENAME. If the fax is successfully sent, then someone will send you a return mail to confirm it. I tried and understood this service is not available in every place. You can send fax to HK and some part of USA. Please note that this server don't coverage all areas. Please check the updated Coverage Area List for the area covered. Also note that there is no guarantee that your fax will be successfully received by your receiver. You should check with your receiver afterward. Mr. Bosco Tsang May 29, 95 .
