Moore is available via ftp at: ftp://wendy.ucsd.edu/pub/pcmusic/pcm09.exe That's a self-extracting zipfile: be sure to download the accompanying readme, there's some info pertinent to the differences between cmusic for UNIX and pcmusic. For those who own "Elements of Computer Music" but have no access to a UNIX workstation, pcmusic is most welcome. I'm testing the examples from that book, most run okay without much tweaking, though some examples still baffle me. There's an errata listing also available somewhere, for the 1st & 2nd printings (I think), and you'll probably need it. Also, pcm09.exe is a beta version, so you takes your chances... Again, I hope I'm not out of line posting this info on the Csound list: I figured fellow Csounders might be interested... -!- uugate 0.40 (SunOS 4.1.3) !
